This Privacy Policy describes how Fashion Fix LLC ("Fashion Fix," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, retains, and discloses information when you use the Fashion Fix application (the "Service" or "App").
1. Who Operates the Service
Fashion Fix LLC, a Maryland limited liability company, operates the Fashion Fix application. Our website is https://fashion-fix.com. For support, contact us at support@fashionfix.app.
2. Information You Provide
We collect information you provide directly when using Fashion Fix, including:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and authentication identifiers used to create and manage your account.
- Style profile information: Gender/style focus, age bracket, race/ethnicity, style preferences, budget/style tier, and location information you provide during onboarding to personalize your styling experience.
- Closet information: Photos of clothing items you upload, along with metadata such as category, color, brand, material, pattern, and other attributes that may be auto-detected or manually entered.
- Digital Twin reference photos: Full-body reference photos you upload to create your adult Digital AI Twin and enable Virtual Try-On features.
- Kids Profile information: When an adult account holder creates a Kids Profile, we may collect the child's name or nickname, age bracket, gender/style preferences, clothing photos, and reference photos for the Kids Digital Twin.
- Saved and scheduled content: Saved outfits, scheduled outfit entries, calendar information, and styling notes you create.
- Feedback and personalization: Ratings, comments, and other feedback you provide about generated looks and features.
- Google Calendar information: If you connect Google Calendar, information needed to create and synchronize outfit-planning events on your calendar, which may include outfit name, occasion, styling note, clothing-item details (such as item name, category, and color), occasion note, scheduled date and time, and reminders. See Section 6 for details on Google Sign-In and Google Calendar data access, storage, sharing, and retention.
- Marketing subscriber information: If you opt in to marketing communications, your email address and name for the purpose of sending style inspiration and product updates.
We do not collect phone numbers through the Fashion Fix app.
3. Images and AI Processing
Fashion Fix uses artificial intelligence and image-processing technologies to provide features such as:
- Clothing categorization and auto-tagging
- Background removal from uploaded clothing photos
- AI-powered styling recommendations
- Outfit visualization and generated outfit imagery
- Digital AI Twin creation for adults
- Kids Digital Twin creation
- Virtual Try-On and outfit mapping onto your avatar
- Personalization of recommendations based on your preferences and feedback
When you upload photos or content, Fashion Fix and its service providers may process that content to provide these features. Known service providers include:
- PhotoRoom — used for background removal from clothing photos.
- Base44 — provides hosting, storage, authentication, database infrastructure, and AI-related platform functionality used by Fashion Fix.
Certain AI and image-processing functions are provided through technology and service providers. Their processing, retention, and model-use practices may be governed by their applicable terms, agreements, and privacy practices.
AI Model Training: Our hosting and AI platform provider, Base44, may use workspace data, including personal information and uploaded content, for AI model training purposes on our current service tier. Fashion Fix does not currently have a per-app option to disable this platform-level use. This may include photos and other content uploaded to Fashion Fix. Fashion Fix itself does not independently train AI models on your photos.
4. Kids Profiles
Fashion Fix offers Kids Profiles as a feature for adult account holders who wish to manage styling for children in their household.
- Kids Profiles are created and managed by an adult Fashion Fix account holder. Children do not independently register for Fashion Fix through a Kids Profile.
- An adult account holder may provide a child's name or nickname, age bracket, gender/style preferences, clothing photos, and reference photos for the Kids Digital Twin.
- Child images may be processed using AI and image-processing services to provide the Kids Digital Twin, styling, visualization, and related features.
- The adult account holder is responsible for having appropriate authority to provide the child's information and images.
- Deletion of the adult account includes the app-level Kids Profile data covered by the deletion process, subject to the retention limitations described in this policy.
We do not use Kids Profile data for marketing, and we do not sell or share children's data for advertising purposes.
5. Payments
Fashion Fix uses Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe handles payment-method information (such as card numbers). Fashion Fix does not store full card numbers. We may store billing-related identifiers and subscription status, such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, to manage your account.
6. Google Calendar and Google Sign-In
6.1 Google Sign-In
Fashion Fix offers Google Sign-In as an authentication option. The Google Sign-In OAuth flow is managed by the Base44 platform, which handles the authentication exchange on Fashion Fix's behalf. After authentication, Fashion Fix accesses the standard platform User record containing fields such as your email address and full name. Fashion Fix does not separately store Google-specific profile identifiers or Google profile-picture data.
6.2 Google Calendar Access
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When you authorize the connection, Fashion Fix requests the Google Calendar scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events. This scope technically permits read and write access to calendar events on your primary Google Calendar. Fashion Fix's actual implementation uses this authorization only to create, update, and delete Fashion Fix-created outfit-planning events on your primary Google Calendar. Fashion Fix does not list, read, inspect, modify, or delete unrelated calendar events created by you or other applications. Fashion Fix does not use GET or LIST operations to retrieve your unrelated calendar events.
6.3 Google Calendar Event Content
When Fashion Fix creates an outfit-planning event on your Google Calendar, it may send Google Calendar the information needed to create that event, including:
- The outfit name;
- The occasion;
- The styling note;
- Clothing-item information such as item name, category, and color;
- The occasion note;
- The scheduled date and time; and
- Reminders for the event.
This information originates from your Fashion Fix data and is sent to Google solely to create the user-requested calendar event.
6.4 Google Data Storage
- OAuth tokens: Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are managed by Base44's connector infrastructure and are not stored in Fashion Fix database entities.
- Google Calendar event IDs: Fashion Fix stores the Google Calendar event ID associated with a scheduled outfit so the corresponding Fashion Fix-created event can later be updated or deleted.
- Event content: Google Calendar event content returned by Google is not stored as a separate Google-data record in Fashion Fix.
- Google account data: Fashion Fix does not separately store Google account IDs or Google-specific profile information.
- Deletion manifest: During account deletion, Google event IDs may be copied into the administrative DeletionRequest record as a cleanup manifest.
6.5 Google Data Sharing and Transfer
- Calendar-event information is sent to Google's Calendar API solely to perform the requested calendar functionality.
- Base44 processes OAuth tokens and API requests as Fashion Fix's hosting, authentication, and connector infrastructure.
- Google Calendar data is not sent to AI/LLM providers, PhotoRoom, Stripe, or Mailchimp.
- Google Calendar data is not used for advertising, marketing, AI model training, generalized AI/ML model improvement, or unrelated human review.
6.6 Disconnecting or Revoking Google Access
- You may disconnect Google Calendar at any time within Fashion Fix.
- You may separately revoke Fashion Fix's authorization through your Google Account security settings.
- Once authorization is disconnected or revoked, Fashion Fix can no longer create, update, or delete Google Calendar events.
- Existing Fashion Fix-created events already present on your Google Calendar remain there after simple disconnection or revocation unless they are separately deleted.
6.7 Google API Data Use Statement
Information obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide Google Sign-In authentication and the user-requested Google Calendar functionality described in this Privacy Policy. This information is not used for advertising, marketing, AI model training, generalized AI/ML model improvement, or unrelated human review.
7. Marketing
If you opt in to marketing communications, Fashion Fix may use Mailchimp to manage marketing email and subscriber communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Marketing opt-in is separate from your required agreement to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and declining marketing does not affect your ability to use Fashion Fix.
8. Service Providers and Third Parties
Fashion Fix relies on the following categories of service providers to operate the Service:
- Base44 — hosting, database, authentication, file storage, and AI platform infrastructure.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Google — Google Sign-In authentication (managed by the Base44 platform) and optional Google Calendar integration. See Section 6 for details on Google data access, storage, and sharing.
- Mailchimp — marketing email and subscriber management (only if you opt in).
- PhotoRoom — background removal from clothing photos.
- AI and image-processing providers — used through our technology platform for styling, visualization, and content analysis.
Each provider receives only the data necessary to perform its function. Provider-specific privacy policies and terms may also apply.
9. Data Retention
We retain your information as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Deletion of data is subject to:
- Operational processing time for completing deletion requests;
- Legal retention obligations that may require us to retain certain information;
- Platform recovery, backup, and cache periods that may temporarily retain copies of data; and
- Limitations affecting some uploaded or generated media, which may persist where immediate or complete deletion is not technically available.
Google Calendar event IDs: A Google event ID generally remains associated with its scheduled outfit for the lifetime of that record. It is removed when the applicable scheduled-outfit or account data is deleted, subject to the platform's soft-delete and recovery period described below. Google OAuth token retention is managed by Base44's connector infrastructure rather than by a Fashion Fix database entity.
App-level database records deleted through our platform may remain restorable for up to 30 days before permanent removal. Files that have been permanently deleted from storage may remain accessible in content-delivery-network (CDN) cache for up to 7 days. Some uploaded or generated files may not currently support automatic permanent deletion and may require service-provider assistance.
We do not commit to a specific retention period beyond what is described here and what is required by applicable law.
10. Account Deletion
You may initiate account deletion within Fashion Fix. When you do:
- Your account and app-level records are scheduled for deletion.
- Your active subscription is canceled as part of the deletion workflow.
- If Google Calendar is still connected, Fashion Fix attempts to delete Fashion Fix-created Google Calendar events before disconnecting the connector. If Google authorization was already disconnected or revoked before account deletion, Fashion Fix may no longer have permission to delete those existing calendar events, and they may remain on your Google Calendar until you delete them manually.
- Associated Google event IDs are deleted with the scheduled-outfit records, subject to the platform's deletion and recovery period. A cleanup manifest containing Google event IDs may remain in the administrative DeletionRequest record as necessary to document and perform account-deletion operations.
- The Google Calendar connection is disconnected.
- Certain file or media copies may persist temporarily in service-provider recovery systems, backups, caches, or where immediate deletion is not technically available, as described in this policy.
- Lawful retention exceptions may apply.
11. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following choices regarding your information:
- Access and update: You can access and update your profile information within Fashion Fix.
- Marketing opt-out: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- Google Calendar: You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time within Fashion Fix. You may also revoke Fashion Fix's access to your Google Account through your Google Account security settings. See Section 6 for details.
